Job summary

Proof of the Pudding, operator of COTA Catering, seeks Event Captains to lead the hospitality team on event floors and ensure a first-class guest experience. This role oversees food service in suites, banquets, and other catering areas, with daily variations based on the event calendar and availability for October 17–19, 2025 and training on October 14 or 15.

Ideal candidates have prior food & beverage leadership, excellent customer service, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a food & beverage team.
• Proven customer service skills at events.
• Strong communication with clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead event floor staff and coordinate service during events.
• Ensure timely setup, service, and breakdown of events.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bartending, and banquet teams to ensure flawless execution.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients in your area.
• Assist in staff training and pre-event briefings.
