This standard was upheld through the expansion into Sports and Entertainment Hospitality Services by providing elevated concessions and premium offerings to collegiate stadiums, PGA golf tournaments, International Boat Shows, Professional Sports Teams, & more.

Proof of the Pudding, operator of COTA Catering, is seeking Premium Servers to join the COTA team. Servers are responsible for a wide range of tasks to help ensure overall guest satisfaction during events. Work assignments and tasks can change daily based on the immediate needs of the event calendar. Food service consists of hospitality and concessions of sporting events, a daily staff café, multiple concerts, and year-round racing events including one of America’s only F1 races – The Grand Prix.

This is seasonal/part-time work as business needs are dictated by athletic events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure the setting of suites, clubs, and buffets completely.
  • Must be able to set up for events, carry equipment, serve guests, and clean up at the conclusion of the event.
  • Quickly respond to guests needs.
  • Maintain proper dining experience and fulfilling customer needs.
  • Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed.
  • Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
  • Knowledge of event menu items and their contents.
  • Responsible for setting buffet stations which may include décor.
  • Serve and clear food and beverage quietly, professionally, and quickly, using proper serving and clearing techniques.

Performs other related duties as required.

QualificationsEducation and/or Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment for this position will work out of and report to Circuit of the Americas. Events may be indoors, outdoors, or in temporary structures. This position will often move throughout the grounds and venue on different terrains.

Uniform Requirements

Physical Demands:

Prolonged periods of being in one place, moving through an event space, and traveling from venue to venue.

Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items.

Ability to perform physical tasks, such as but not limited to, lifting up-to 30+ pounds.
