Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate for the West Elm brand in Lancaster to deliver a unique shopping experience with outstanding customer service and product knowledge in a fast-paced specialty retail setting.

You will use effective selling techniques, assist with services like gift wrap and registry, handle register transactions, maintain visual displays, and support a team focused on the client experience and sales goals.

Qualifications

• Provide sincere, friendly and energetic customer service by exemplifying World-Class service standards.
• Achieve established sales and contest goals; maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.
• Assist customers with services including gift wrap, gift registry, catalog orders, special orders, back orders, charge sends, courier deliveries, and furniture orders.
• Efficiently and accurately perform register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges).

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a unique shopping experience through excellent service.
• Utilize effective selling techniques to build multiple sales.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of visual merchandise presentation, signage and lighting.
• Uphold store maintenance and cleanliness standards; straighten and help maintain stockroom.
• Process, ticket, and restock merchandise as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management; comply with company policies.
