Job summary

Kairoi is seeking a Groundskeeper/Porter to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of our multifamily community in Houston, TX. You will handle groundskeeping, cleaning, make-ready support, and provide friendly resident interactions.

This role requires a dedicated individual with reliable work habits, attention to detail, and the ability to work with property staff to uphold a high standard of living for residents. Training on site will be provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Strong time management and organization skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow cleaning and maintenance procedures.
• Must have physical stamina for bending, lifting, and standing for long periods.
• Willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no major infractions in 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community grounds, common areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and curb appeal.
• Perform cleaning tasks: sweep, trash pickup, litter removal.
• Care for landscaping: watering and weeding.
• Clean and sanitize lobbies, hallways, fitness centers, and laundry rooms.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, and polish floors and surfaces.
• Empty trash and replace liners; clean windows and mirrors.
• Assist in make-ready of vacant apartments and coordinate with maintenance team.
