Job summary

Kairoi Residential seeks a Groundskeeper for Maverick on Monroe to maintain clean grounds, interiors, and exterior spaces of a multifamily community. This role supports make-ready efforts for vacant units and collaborates with the maintenance team to address repairs as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in groundskeeping or porter work, strong customer service, and a willingness to learn. A valid driver’s license is required, and bilingual Spanish or Portuguese is preferred for

Qualifications

• One year of groundskeeping or porter experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese preferred
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to lift and perform physical tasks

Responsibilities

• Ensure grounds, tour pathways, breezeways, stairwells, parking lots, amenity areas, and dumpster areas are clean and free of debris
• Perform sweeping, trash pickup and litter removal
• Maintain landscaping (watering plants, removing weeds)
• Clean and sanitize common areas (lobbies, hallways, fitness centers, laundry rooms)
• Vacuum, dust, mop, and polish floors and surfaces
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
• Assist in make-ready of vacant apartments (trash removal, cleaning appliances)
• Assist maintenance with inspections and minor repairs as directed
• Interact with residents and prospective tenants in a friendly manner
• Respond to resident inquiries in a timely manner
