Job summary

Tarantino Properties, Inc. is seeking Groundskeepers / Porters to maintain the cleanliness, curb appeal, and overall appearance of our Houston Briar Forest community. You will keep common areas tidy, pick up litter, and assist the maintenance team as needed.

The role emphasizes attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and with a team. Physical stamina is important, with occasional lifting up to 50lbs required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance or custodial work is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to occasionally lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris.
• Pick up trash around buildings, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Clean breezeways, stairwells, and other shared areas.
• Maintain dumpster and trash areas.
• Assist the maintenance team with light tasks when needed.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management.
• Help keep the community neat and welcoming for residents.
