Job summary

Dayton Area School Consortium seeks a Groundskeeper to maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, and turf at the DPS Service Building. You will apply fertilizers, pesticides, and mulch, maintain equipment, and ensure grounds are clean and safe year-round.

Responsibilities include record-keeping, safety checks, and collaboration with staff to meet district standards. Must be physically able to lift 80 lbs and work outside in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Requires mechanical aptitude and ability to perform strenuous manual labor.
• Experience with lawn care equipment and safety checks preferred.
• Knowledge of oils, lubricants and equipment maintenance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, and turf.
• Apply insecticides and pesticides as directed.
• Perform preventive maintenance on grounds equipment and keep records of services.
