Job summary

Landmark Christian School in Fairburn, GA is seeking an energetic Grounds and Landscaping worker to maintain lawn care, planting, and general grounds improvement. You will operate mowers and machinery, apply pesticides, prune plants, and perform routine maintenance while upholding the school’s mission and safety standards.

This full-time role requires physical stamina, ability to lift 50 lbs, and flexibility for overtime or weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Must reflect Landmark Christian School's mission and values in attitude and behavior.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid GA driver's license and willingness to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Cut lawns with mowers, weed eaters, trimmers, blowers and edgers.
• Plant flowers, grasses, and shrubs to install landscaping.
• Apply pesticides to control pests on grounds.
• Clean roof systems and gutters; trim trees and shrubs.
• Operate heavy machinery such as skid steer and farm tractor.
• Rake, mulch and prune landscaping beds; water plants and fertilize as needed.
• Monitor grounds contracts and document maintenance records.
