Job summary

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of recent and verifiable commercial lawn maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• A valid Florida Driver’s License is required to drive College vehicles when necessary.
• Candidate must have their own transportation to report to other college campuses as assigned.
• Must be able to be forklift certified within one year.

Responsibilities

• Mows, cuts, trims, edges, weeds and maintains College grounds. Operates lift/bucket truck to trim trees up to 30’. Performs other landscaping tasks as directed.
• Operates blower to clear debris from sidewalks, parking lots and other areas.
• Maintains plants by weeding and spraying with pesticides and fertilizers. Plants shrubbery, trees, and flowers. Prunes and trims trees and shrubbery.
