Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Communications Principal Associate to support external communications for Premium Products & Experiences. You will drive premium narratives around products, manage media inquiries, develop reports, and support executive thought leadership in a highly matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• At least 3 years of external communications experience.
• Public relations or communications experience in financial services, technology, or consumer brands.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing proactive communication, talent and tastemaker campaigns and team operations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute program elements.
• Liaise with media on in-bound media inquiries.
• Create media messaging, pitches, lists, briefing books, social posts for executives.
• Provide project management support across the team with workback plans and trackers.
• Assist with development of measurement and media coverage reports.
• Coordinate contract deliverables and logistics for talent and tastemaker partners.
• Manage and optimize communications reporting and analytics.
