Job summary

Capital One is seeking a principal associate to drive external communications for Premium Products and Experiences. You will manage media inquiries, craft messaging, and support executive thought leadership across Travel, Loyalty, and Spend experiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or military experience is required.
At least 3 years of external communications experience.
Public relations or communications experience in financial services, technology, or consumer brands.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and executing proactive communications, talent and tastemaker campaigns under senior guidance.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute program elements.
Liaise with media on inbound media inquiries.
Create media messaging, pitches, media lists, briefing books, and social posts for executives.
Provide cross-team project management—workback plans, trackers, and meeting actions.
Assist with development of measurement and media coverage reports.
Coordinate contract deliverables and logistics for talent and tastemaker partners.
Manage and optimize communications reporting and analytics.
