Job summary

Ghirardelli is hiring a part-time Retail Hourly Associate in Monterey, CA. You will provide exceptional guest service, manage cash transactions, stock merchandise, and assist with candy making and fountain duties. Must be 18+ with strong communication and teamwork to maintain store standards.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour plus tips, with holiday pay and employee discounts. Shifts may extend before/after store hours for prep and closing tasks; opportunities for quarterly bonuses exist.

Qualifications

• Basic math and numeracy skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with little supervision and as part of a diverse team.
• Must be 18 years or older. High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service and handle transactions accurately.
• Perform cashiering tasks, candy making, stock merchandise and fountain duties as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and display standards on the sales floor and back stock.
• Follow food safety guidelines and ensure a sanitary condition throughout the shift.
