Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing in Honolulu is seeking a Premium Billing Representative for a full-time role located in Downtown Honolulu. The position runs Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with compensation of $22.70 per hour. In-state candidates only.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two years of recent customer service or billing experience.
Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize billing systems, tools, and processes.
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

Process premium billing transactions, including payments, adjustments, and account updates, ensuring accuracy and completeness of billing records.
Research, analyze, and resolve billing discrepancies, including reconciliation of billing, eligibility, and payment variances.
Support the preparation of monthly premium invoices and assist with identifying and resolving billing issues.
Respond professionally to billing inquiries received through phone, email, and walk-in interactions.
Coordinate with internal departments to resolve account-related issues and maintain accurate billing information.
Maintain complete and accurate account documentation within billing systems according to established procedures.
Collaborate with team members to support department workflows, productivity, and operational continuity.
Perform other related duties and special projects, as assigned.
