Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of customer service and/or billing-related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to perform math calculations involving percentages, ratios, and balances.
• Ten-key by touch.
• Familiarity with computerized accounting and billing systems.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Ability to learn and use billing systems and processes.
• Ability to analyze information and resolve discrepancies within guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Process premium billing transactions, including payments and account updates.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and variances.
• Maintain accurate account information in billing systems.
• Support monthly premium invoice preparation and issue resolution.
• Respond to billing inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Coordinate with internal departments to maintain billing accuracy.
• Document processes for reporting, compliance, and audits.
• Apply billing knowledge to identify issues and improve efficiency.
• Provide backup support for billing functions.
