Job summary

Unified Health Plan in Wichita, Kansas is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to support premium billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable activities for our self-funded health plan administration operations.

You will generate monthly invoices, reconcile billing, monitor AR aging, and collaborate with vendors to ensure accurate and timely billing across multiple client funding arrangements. Attention to detail and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in billing, AR, accounting, or finance.
• Strong Excel proficiency required.
• Experience with account reconciliation.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate monthly premium invoices for employer groups across ASO and other plans.
• Review census changes, eligibility updates, plan changes, and rate changes.
• Process billing adjustments including retroactive adds and terminations.
• Coordinate billing setup for new client implementations.
• Reconcile employer group billing accounts monthly.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on past-due balances.
• Coordinate payment plans or resolution of disputed invoices.
• Prepare billing reports and financial summaries for leadership.
• Maintain billing documentation in accordance with controls and audits.
