Job summary

American-Amicable Life Insurance Company of Texas is seeking a Premium Accounting Representative to handle premium payments, suspense balances, and client communications with accuracy. You will update records, support policy reinstatements, and respond to inquiries while adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of administrative or customer service experience.
• Proficient with MS Office and data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Process all forms of premium payments, including list billing, returns, and direct payments
• Manage daily completion of WMS items
• Monitor and balance suspense accounts
• Process returned items and support policy reinstatements
• Respond to phone calls and chats related to Premium Accounting inquiries
• Update agent and client information, including address and email changes
• Correspond with agents, policy owners, and bank personnel regarding payment processes
• Prepare and mail premium payment letters and verify billing/lapse notices
• Research and resolve past‑due policies
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs
• Conduct all work in accordance with laws, regulations, and the iA Financial Group Code of Conduct
