Job summary

American Amicable Life Insurance Company of Texas is seeking a Premium Accounting Representative to ensure accurate and timely processing of premium payments, supporting policyholders, agents, and our financial operations.

You will handle payments, manage suspense accounts, respond to inquiries, and update records, while contributing to a collaborative, growth-oriented iA Financial Group environment with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of administrative or customer service experience (preferred).
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Process all forms of premium payments, including list billing, returns, and direct payments.
• Manage daily completion of WMS items.
• Monitor and balance suspense accounts.
• Process returned items and support policy reinstatements.
• Respond to inquiries via phone and chat about Premium Accounting.
• Update agent and client information, including address and email changes.
• Correspond with agents, policy owners, and bank personnel regarding payment processes.
• Prepare and mail premium payment letters and verify notices.
• Research and resolve past-due policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs.

What You’ll Do

• Process all forms of premium payments, including list billing, returns, and direct payments
• Manage daily completion of WMS items
• Monitor and balance suspense accounts
• Process returned items and support policy reinstatements
• Respond to phone calls and chats related to Premium Accounting inquiries
• Update agent and client information, including address and email changes
• Correspond with agents, policy owners, and bank personnel regarding payment processes
• Prepare and mail premium payment letters and verify billing/lapse notices
• Research and resolve past‑due policies
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs
• Conduct all work in accordance with laws, regulations, and the iA Financial Group Code of Conduct
