Job summary

Aesop, part of the L'Oreal Groupe, seeks a Retail Consultant to deliver premium customer experiences in-store through storytelling and tailored product recommendations. You will drive performance, engage customers with authentic conversations, and maintain impeccable store standards while supporting ongoing learning and development.

Applicants should be customer-obsessed, commercially minded, and capable of working a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing retail or hospitality role.
• A merchant mindset with strong commercial awareness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; confident product demonstrations.
• Passion for premium skincare and fragrance brands.
• Flexible scheduling, including 3 full days/week with at least one weekend day.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drive Personal Performance by supporting KPIs and executing a SMART monthly plan.
• Deliver exceptional Customer Experience with warm welcomes and personalized journeys.
• Commit to Learning & Development through retail induction and product training.
• Execute Retail Essentials by maintaining grooming standards, stock, and store presentation.
