Job summary

Extell Hospitality Services seeks an experienced Bartender for Canopy by Hilton Deer Valley in Park City. The role blends restaurant and banquet service, emphasizing precise beverage delivery, SOP adherence, and a strong Culture of Care.

Responsibilities include bar operations, event setup, compliance with Utah liquor laws, and guest-focused service across outlets. Requires 21+ with relevant bartending experience and certifications within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to take orders, handle, dispense, or serve alcoholic beverages under Utah state law.
• Hospitality-driven, capable of thriving in a dual restaurant and banquet environment.
• 1–2 years of bartending experience in hotel/restaurant or banquet setting preferred.
• Must obtain Utah DABS Alcohol Server Certification within 30 days of hiring; food handler permit within 30 days.
• Experience with hospitality POS software platforms and inventory tracking.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and staff to understand needs, dietary preferences, and allergies.
• Adhere to Utah liquor laws by confirming patrons' intent to order alcohol.
• Guide guests through beverage menu with knowledge of local offerings and wine/spirits.
• Enter orders into POS with correct timing and note dietary restrictions.
• Pre-clean and clear café/bar areas and maintain cleanliness per SOPs.
• Prepare beverages with proper hygiene and adhere to calibration and serving standards.
• Assist in setup/teardown of banquet bars, stations, glassware, and ice.
• Serve beverages for hosted, cash, or passed service during events.
• Ensure proper storage and stock rotation of liquor and bar tools.
