Accounting Search is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for a full-time, permanent role in East Chicago, IN. The position includes a Monday–Friday schedule with evening, weekend and holiday on-call rotations, relocation assistance, and highly competitive compensation.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
• Current state registered nurse license.
• Current state advanced practice nurse prescriber license.
• Board certified or board eligible by NBCRNA.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR systems preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform and document a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient.
• Call rotation: CRNAs act as a second call to the Anesthesiologists with monthly schedules.
• Develop an anesthesia care plan based on patient history and surgical needs.
• Select, obtain, and administer anesthetic drugs and fluids.
• Manage patient airway and pulmonary status using various methods.
• Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia.
• Provide post-anesthesia follow-up care and evaluate responses.
• Support 28 ORs and Non-Operating Room Anesthesia areas including GI suites.
• Manage a daily patient volume of 2 to 10 cases depending on complexity.
• Participate in a 1 weekend per month call rotation.
• Utilize AI functionality within the Epic EMR system for documentation.
• Maintain HIMSS Stage VII standards for digital medical records.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff.
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Attend departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
