Clear Concepts, Inc. is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time, permanent position in East Chicago, IN.

The role involves performing pre-anesthetic assessments, developing anesthesia plans, administering anesthesia, and managing airway, with a call rotation including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
• Current state RN license and APN license.
• Board certification or eligibility by NBCRNA.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Epic EMR proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation.
• Develop an appropriate anesthesia care plan based on history and surgical needs.
• Select, obtain, and administer anesthetic, adjuvant, and fluids.
• Manage patient airway and ventilation.
• Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia.
• Provide post-anesthesia follow-up care and evaluate response.
• Support multiple ORs and non-OR areas including GI suites and Cath Labs.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff.
• Attend departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
