Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in East Chicago, Indiana. This full-time/permanent role (1099 also available) features a Monday–Friday schedule from 7am to 3:30pm with an on-call rotation in the evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The compensation includes permanent hourly pay of $135.00–$150.00 and a 1099 hourly rate of $205.00, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
• Current state RN license.
• Current state APRN license.
• Board Certification or eligibility by NBCRNA.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation.
• Develop anesthesia care plans based on patient history and surgical needs.
• Select, obtain, and administer the anesthetic and related drugs and fluids.
• Manage airway and pulmonary status during anesthesia.
• Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia.
• Provide post-anesthesia follow-up care and evaluate responses.
• Support multiple ORs and non-OR anesthesia areas.
• Manage daily patient volume and participate in on-call rotation.
• Utilize AI functionality in Epic EMR for documentation.
• Maintain HIMSS Stage VII standards and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
