Job summary
Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in East Chicago, IN for a full-time, permanent role. The position offers a lucrative hourly rate and a 1099 option, with a Monday–Friday schedule and an on-call rotation after hours and weekends.
Relocation assistance is available. Responsibilities include pre-anesthetic assessment, anesthesia planning, airway management, and post-anesthesia recovery, with Epic EMR integration and HIMSS Stage VII standards support.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
- Current state RN license.
- Current state APRN prescriber license.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by the NBCRNA.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Epic EMR proficiency preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient.
- Develop an anesthesia care plan based on patient history and surgical needs.
- Select, obtain, and administer anesthetic, adjuvant, and fluids.
- Manage airway and pulmonary status during anesthesia.
- Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia.
