Henderson Group in East Chicago, IN is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time, permanent position with on-call rotation during evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role includes a competitive hourly wage and potential 1099 options.

Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate. The position supports 28 ORs and several non-OR areas, with opportunities to tailor practice goals within a premier, tech-forward facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
• Current state registered nurse license.
• Current state advanced practice nurse prescriber license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient.
• Develop an anesthesia care plan based on patient history and needs.
• Select and administer anesthetic drugs and fluids.
• Manage airway and pulmonary status during anesthesia.
• Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia and monitor patient response.
• Support ORs and non-operating areas including GI suites and labs.
• Participate in a monthly call rotation and team collaboration with surgeons and nurses.
• Utilize Epic EMR for inpatient and outpatient documentation.
