Job summary

The Madison Club is seeking a professional Server to contribute to an exceptional member and guest dining experience at La Quinta, California. You will provide outstanding service, have deep menu knowledge, and maintain attention to detail during service.

You will greet guests, anticipate needs, upsell cocktails and wines, manage orders in POS, and ensure accurate, timely delivery while upholding safety standards and teamwork within a fast-paced, high-end club environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of serving experience in a full-service environment.
• Knowledge of ServSafe, HACCP and local food safety standards; ability to obtain State Food Safety Certificate.
• Robust knowledge of wines and beverages.
• Extraordinary attention to detail, quality, and service.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service and communication with members, guests and team members.
• Greet guests politely and promptly, anticipate needs and respond with urgency.
• Present knowledge of all menu items and make recommendations.
• Pair wine and beverages with menu items and manage transactions in POS.
• Ensure orders are complete and accurate; adhere to safety and SOPs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization; stock daily and support opening/closing duties.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to the Restaurant Manager and work with the team.
