Job summary

The Marblehead Public Schools is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join the PreK program for the 26-27 school year. The chosen clinician will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders, supporting communication across the school day.

Responsibilities include developing IEPs, providing direct therapy, collaborating with teachers and families, and documenting progress. Applicants should have a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and a DESE license.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• DESE-issued license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist required.
• School setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student.
• Provide direct therapy to improve communication skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans.
• Educate families on communication strategies for home use.
• Maintain thorough documentation of services.
• Provide services individually or in small groups.
• Knowledge of AAC devices used in school settings.
