Job summary

Diocese of Trenton is seeking a PreK School Teacher for a multidisiciplinary early childhood setting. The role focuses on planning developmentally appropriate lessons, fostering an inclusive classroom, and assessing progress to tailor instruction.

The teacher will collaborate with aides and staff, engage families with regular updates, and coordinate enrichment activities and major events throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Experience instructing young children in a PreK/early childhood setting.
• Knowledge of early childhood development theories and best practices.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging lesson plans for young children.

• Collaborate with PreK aides and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents about progress and concerns.
• Plan and collaborate on events like Thanksgiving, Christmas, Mother's Day, and year‑end programs.
• Develop monthly enrichment programs with colleagues.
