Summary
The Pre-K Assistant Teacher works alongside our Lead Teacher to support the learning and development of children ages 4-5. You will help implement engaging curriculum activities, facilitate group learning experiences, and provide individualized support to emerging learners. This role is ideal for someone passionate about preparing children for elementary school success.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist Lead Teacher in planning and implementing engaging curriculum activities
- Supervise children during classroom activities, group time, and outdoor play
- Support transitions between activities and facilitate smooth classroom routines
- Prepare materials, set up learning centers, and maintain organized classroom spaces
- Provide individualized support to children with varying learning needs
- Observe and report on children's academic and social-emotional progress
- Foster positive peer relationships and social skills development
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment
- Communicate with Lead Teacher and parents about children's learning and progress

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with preschool-age children is preferred
- Knowledge of preschool development and academic readiness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience, flexibility, and positive attitude
- Current First Aid and CPR certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days
