Summary
The Junior PreK Assistant Teacher works alongside our Lead Teacher to support the learning and development of children ages 2.5-4. You will help implement activities, support group transitions, and provide individualized attention to learners. This role offers the opportunity to foster early love of learning and help children build friendships.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily learning activities
- Supervise children during classroom, art, music, and outdoor play activities
- Support transitions between activities and maintain smooth classroom routines
- Prepare materials and set up learning centers for activities
- Observe and report on children's progress and behavior
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
- Provide support to individual children with activities and social skills
- Communicate with Lead Teacher and parents about the day's activities and progress
- Attend training sessions and staff meetings

QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with preschool-age children is preferred
- Knowledge of preschool development and play-based learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience, flexibility, and positive attitude
- Current First Aid and CPR certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days
