Summary
The Infant Assistant Teacher works alongside our Lead Teacher to provide warm, attentive care for infants. You will support developmental activities, maintain a clean and safe environment, and assist with daily routines including feeding, diaper changes, and nap time. This role requires patience, tenderness, and a commitment to responsive infant care.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, responsive care and support to infants during all activities
- Assist with feeding, bottle preparation, and feeding schedules as directed by Lead Teacher
- Support diaper changes, clothing changes, and personal hygiene with gentle, respectful care
- Monitor and report on infants' comfort, mood, and any changes in behavior or health
- Prepare and sanitize materials, bottles, toys, and learning areas
- Support sensory and developmental activities under Lead Teacher guidance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Communicate with Lead Teacher and parents about the infant's day
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and procedures

QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with infants is strongly preferred
- Understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving principles
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Patient, gentle demeanor with infants
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (Infant & Child) required or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and bend/kneel frequently
