The role emphasizes safe, engaging learning for young children and effective communication with families. Ideal candidates have 1+ year in early childhood education, strong communication, and a CDA or equivalent credential; CPR/First Aid certification is required or post-hire eligibility.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in early childhood education or child development.
• Certified in First Aid and CPR or willing to obtain upon hire.
• Knowledge of child developmental stages, classroom management, and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily classroom activities and provide a safe, nurturing environment.
• Foster age-appropriate learning and socialization; build basic skills (communication, manners, sharing).
• Maintain daily records related to each child's care and progress.
• Communicate effectively with parents and facilitate conferences.
• Ensure safety and engagement during activities and outings.
