Job summary

Valley Interior Systems Inc. in Walton, KY is seeking a Prefab Safety Coordinator to implement and enforce safety in a 120,000sf fabrication facility. You will be the go-to resource for internal teams, ensuring a compliant and safe working environment on active construction projects.

Work with the Safety Director and operations to maintain a strong safety culture, lead pre-task planning, safety meetings, toolbox talks, and orientation, and drive incident investigations and audits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 30 required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish (strongly preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar program.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for addressing safety-related questions in a manufacturing environment.
• Coordinate and track employee training requirements and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Partner with the Safety Director to communicate needs, trends, and opportunities.
• Participate in pre-task planning, safety meetings, toolbox talks, and new worker orientations.
• Investigate job related incidents and drug testing requirements to maintain compliance.
• Assist with incident response, fact-gathering, and tracking follow-up actions.
• Perform safety audits and inspections and reporting.
