Job summary

JetBlue Airways is seeking a Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer to join the Engineering team in the United States. The engineer will develop and implement in-service modifications, repairs, and other solutions aimed at enhancing aircraft reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires collaboration with principal engineers, technicians, and suppliers to design, test, and substantiate major and minor modifications, while supporting airworthiness and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or related technical field with 3+ years in aviation.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft structures, avionics, systems, or powerplant.
• Experience with project execution and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with predictive digital technology teams to develop diagnostics and monitoring strategies.
• Review service bulletins and OEM documentation to determine required actions.
• Enter EA data into the electronic maintenance tracking system.
