Job summary

JetBlue is seeking an Aerospace/Mechanical Engineer to develop and implement in-service modifications, repairs, and improvements that boost aircraft reliability and safety. You will work with engineers and technicians to design, analyze, and document changes to aircraft systems and structures.

Role requires diving into system design, performing regulatory substantiations, and creating clear technical documentation for compliance and future enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years in Aviation/airline environment or equivalent.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (Python, Excel, SQL).
• Familiarity with FARs and aircraft certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with predictive digital technology teams to improve diagnostics and reliability.
• Review service bulletins and OEM documentation to determine proper actions.
• Enter EA data into maintenance tracking systems and support airworthiness directives.
