Job summary

UPS Airlines is seeking an Aircraft Engineer to develop engineering solutions supporting safety, reliability, and airworthiness across global operations. Will collaborate with manufacturers and external vendors to create cost-efficient repairs and modifications, and manage projects end-to-end while maintaining UPS standards.

The role requires a Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering degree and legal eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent is required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time.
No sponsorship needed to maintain employment visa status.

Responsibilities

Aircraft Modifications and Maintenance: develop repair solutions for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other aircraft components.
Manage, track, and implement project approvals from start to finish, including securing funding.
Review FAA and International Regulations for applicability to UPS and act as project manager when required.
Develop cost-effective standards and recommendations that meet aircraft specifications through coordination with manufacturers.
Analyze aircraft data to identify reliability improvements via modifications or procedural changes.
