Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking an Assistant Preconstruction Manager to coordinate pursuits, schedules, and proposal content. You will work with Engineering, Estimating, Procurement, and Contracts teams to gather inputs, document client requirements, and ensure submission readiness for complex solar and energy storage projects.

In this role, you will maintain basis of design, support cash flow and revenue forecasting, and help transition proposals to execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• 1-3 years of proposal coordination, project coordination, estimating, Preconstruction, Engineering coordination, marketing, communications, finance support, or EPC experience.
• Experience preparing clear, concise, and professional proposal content; renewable energy or capital-project experience is preferred.
• Strong planning, organization, spreadsheet, written communication, proofreading, document-production, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with proposal-layout, graphics, or document-design tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and document Basis of Design with Engineering, Estimating, Procurement, Operations, and Contracts Administration.
• Document client requirements, expectations, questions, and commitments with Client Account Manager.
• Build and maintain the proposal schedule, deliverable register, review calendar, action log, and submission checklist.
• Coordinate with Engineering and other contributors to collect deliverables, confirm due dates, track status, and identify late inputs.
• Partner with Lead Estimator to align proposal content with scope, estimate basis, schedule, cash flow, assumptions, exclusions, and client requirements.
• Coordinate proposal kickoffs, working sessions, and reviews; document decisions and follow through on due dates.
• Collect, organize, edit, proofread, and format proposal content to produce a complete, professional response.
• Customize proposal narratives, resumes, project experience, graphics, and standard content to the opportunity and capture strategy.
• Maintain proposal templates, resource libraries, trackers, pursuit data, and reusable content per standards.
• Support contract and exhibit reviews by maintaining issue logs and tracking items through resolution.
• Follow LNTP development, scope compilation, approval routing, and version control processes.
