Qualifications

• Internship in a construction-related position is preferred.
• Superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• College degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Technology.
• Strong PC skills with MS Office; Procore experience is a plus.
• Flexibility for intermittent travel to out-of-town job sites as needed.
• Combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Design meetings participation in pre-construction for assigned projects.
• Permitting assistance for development and construction.
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates by analyzing blueprints, specs, and docs.
• Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs using standard software.
• Solicit and manage bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project costs and perform cost analysis; adjust estimates for scope changes.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and design teams to align scope and budget.
• Assemble and present estimates, proposals, and reports for management and client review.
• Prepare site logistics and safety plans with related checklists.
