Job summary

Allegiance Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an experienced Estimator to support a robust pipeline of commercial projects including fire stations, mixed-use developments, retail, office buildings and automotive dealerships. This role focuses on preparing detailed estimates, budgets, quantity takeoffs, and bid packages for new work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs, conceptual estimating, subcontractor bidding, and budget development.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates, budgets, quantity takeoffs, and bid packages for commercial construction projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed estimates, budgets, quantity takeoffs, and bid packages for commercial construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify scope requirements and pricing opportunities.
• Manage subcontractor bidding, bid leveling, and supplier proposals.
• Develop conceptual budgets and detailed estimates throughout the preconstruction process.

• Proficiency in Bluebeam, BuildingConnected, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar estimating software.
• Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
