Job summary

Veregy is seeking a Preconstruction Project Manager in Denver, CO to lead projects from 30% design through construction-ready design and turnover to Operations. You will coordinate due diligence, external engineering, permitting, design reviews, and procurement, acting as the primary link between Development and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Commercial solar experience required.
• Five or more years of experience in preconstruction, project management, engineering coordination, construction management, or a related field.
• Experience coordinating architects, engineering consultants, contractors, utilities, permitting authorities, and other external stakeholders.
• Experience in energy services, design‑build construction, renewable energy, mechanical/electrical systems, infrastructure, or a related industry.

Responsibilities

• Leads recurring preconstruction meetings with Development, Sales, external Engineering, Operations, and other project stakeholders.
• Develops and maintains the overall preconstruction schedule, including due diligence, engineering, design reviews, permitting, and turnover milestones.
• Monitors preconstruction activities against established project budgets and identifies potential cost impacts.
• Coordinates with Development to understand the basis of design established during the 30% design phase.
• Coordinates client information, approvals, site access, and decisions required to maintain the preconstruction schedule.
