Job summary

Signal Energy, a full-service EPC contractor providing engineering, procurement and construction for utility-scale solar projects across North America, seeks a Preconstruction Manager to lead post‑award activities from bidder selection through EPC Agreement execution.

You will own EPC Agreement negotiations, coordinate with Legal, Business Development, and executive leadership, and translate the awarded proposal into a fully executable project plan for safe, predictable delivery and a robust

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of EPC contracts, scheduling, and risk management.
• Proficient in budget and cash flow analysis.
• Solar EPC construction management experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead post‑award activities from preferred bidder through EPC Agreement execution.
• Own EPC Agreement negotiations with Legal, Business Development and Executive Leadership.
• Preserve bid intent through contract execution and LNTP/FNTP issuance.
• Maintain and evolve the project risk register from award through FNTP.
• Coordinate and lead constructability reviews, risk reviews, and execution planning workshops.
• Manage LNTP activities in accordance with EPC Agreement terms, including scope authorization, billing, and compliance.
• Develop a complete and executable project plan for Operations and handover.
• Support Operations through early execution by providing context to bid assumptions, negotiated terms, and design decisions.
• Capture lessons learned and provide feedback to Pursuit, Estimating and Business Development to improve future bids.

Education
