Job summary

U.S. Engineering Innovations seeks a Preconstruction Manager to lead design and budgeting from inception through preconstruction, then support during construction. You will coordinate with owners, GCs, architects, and engineers to deliver competitive proposals and robust estimates.

The role emphasizes design-assist/build, schedule development, and maintaining constructability while guiding project teams toward on-time, on-budget completion.

Qualifications

• HVAC and plumbing design experience with budgets and schedules.
• Familiarity with design-assist and design-build processes.
• Knowledge of codes and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage scope and budgets across projects.

Responsibilities

• Design / assist engineering for complete and competitive proposals.
• Generate and review engineering calculations; support value engineering.
• Coordinate with Owners, GC, Architects, and Engineers on options.
• Develop project schedules and support preconstruction milestones.
• Review contracts for design-on and design-build projects; ensure compliance.
