Job summary

U.S. Engineering Innovations seeks a Preconstruction Manager in Westminster, CO to lead project design development, budgeting, and preconstruction activities from inception through construction.

You will coordinate with Owners, GCs, Architects, and Engineers, generate estimates, and support project managers and field staff on design issues. A engineering degree and P.E. are preferred, with at least 4 years in HVAC/plumbing design.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and P.E. registration strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in HVAC and plumbing design.
• Proficient in MS Excel and budget tracking.

Responsibilities

• Finish design on incomplete documents to support competitive proposals.
• Generate and review engineering calculations.
• Assist in value engineering and design options with Owners, General Contractors, Architects, and Engineers.
• Generate schematic drawings of systems for consultation.
• Assist with electrical and general coordination on design-assist and design-build projects.
• Serve as a resource for Project Managers and Field personnel on design issues.
• Provide solutions to engineering applications and track scope changes.
• Develop and maintain preliminary estimating methods and databases.
