Job summary

Reeves Young is seeking a Preconstruction Engineer to contribute to bid development and profitability on diverse projects in Sugar Hill, GA. You will coordinate with clients and design teams, perform conceptual takeoffs, and review drawings and specs to define scope.

The role requires proficiency with multiple preconstruction tools, strong teamwork, and mentoring of junior engineers as part of a growing Preconstruction group.

Qualifications

• Produce project estimates and related documentation within required timeframes.
• Coordinate with clients and design teams and build relationships.
• Willingness to learn and use multiple preconstruction software tools.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Preconstruction team by winning bids and increasing profitability.
• Cultivate relationships with staff, clients, subcontractors, and business partners.
• Participates in quantity takeoff process and can perform conceptual level takeoffs.
• Thoroughly reads and comprehends drawings, specifications and related project documents.
• Identifies labor, material and time requirements by studying current job conditions to create Project Information document and assignment of scopes.
