Job summary

Reeves Young is hiring for a preconstruction support role focused on quantity surveying and bid coordination. You will assist the preconstruction team with estimates, check plans and specifications, and maintain bid lists with accurate subcontractor contacts.

You will communicate with subcontractors during bidding to gauge interest and review project scope and pricing, while learning to use industry software in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess working knowledge of listed software applications or willingness to learn.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs and bid coordination is a plus.
• Strong communication and time management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

What Can You Expect:

• Quantity surveying and other associated basic assigned tasks to assist in producing project estimates and support the preconstruction team.
• Check Plans and Specifications to ensure all documents are correct and received.
• Maintains preferred vendor and subcontractor bid list and ensures accuracy of contacts listed.
• Communicate "persistently" with subcontractors during bidding process to gauge bidding interest as well as following up to
  review project scope and pricing.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Must possess working knowledge of or demonstrate willingness to learn how to use the following software applications: All Preconstruction Sotfware that may inlcude: Outlook, Excel, Bluebeam, Sketchup, Revit, Building Connected, On-screen Take Off, Agtek, Procore, Viewpoint Field Work Center, HCSS, and Destini.
• Ability to work under constant pressure and perform well in order to complete the required targets.
• Perform quantity takeoffs.
• Excellent communication skills and time management practices
