Cornerstone General Contractors, LLC in Alaska is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to guide projects from concept through pricing and turnover. Formación

• 7+ years of progressively responsible commercial construction experience across preconstruction, estimating, project management, project engineering, field operations, or a combination of these disciplines.
• 10+ years of vertical commercial construction experience.
• Previous experience as a Preconstruction Manager, Senior Estimator, Project Manager, Superintendent, or similar construction leader.
• Experience delivering CM/GC, Design-Build, negotiated, qualifications-based, or other collaborative project-delivery methods.
• Experience with BIM/model-based design coordination and constructability review.
• Advanced proficiency with estimating, cost-planning, and takeoff software.
• Professional certifications in estimating, construction management, project management, or preconstruction.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Preconstruction by guiding projects from notice of award through final pricing and turnover to Operations.
• Shape Design, Constructability & Value by evaluating evolving designs for buildability and value while coordinating alternatives.
• Manage Cost & Budget Alignment by linking scope with budget, reconciling changes, and communicating cost drivers and contingencies.
• Build the Schedule & Procurement Strategy by developing preconstruction schedules aligned to milestones and procurement risks.
• Identify & Manage Risk by evaluating scope, budget, schedule, design, procurement, and constructability risks and proposing mitigations.
• Build Trusted Client Relationships through clear communication and transparent information sharing; help clients understand tradeoffs and opportunities.
