• Experience on commercial, multifamily, or industrial projects.
• Understanding of means, methods, materials, and market pricing.
• Proficiency with estimating software and digital takeoff tools.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines with precision.
• Calm, analytical mindset during early project phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction from concept through GMP or bid submission.
• Develop detailed conceptual, schematic, and design development estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and validate scope across trades.
• Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and field leadership.
• Identify cost drivers, VE opportunities, and risk early.
• Guide subcontractor outreach, leveling, and bid analysis.
• Build and maintain historical cost databases and benchmarks.
• Support project scheduling input and logistics in early phases.
• Ensure seamless handoff from preconstruction to operations.
