Job summary

Cornerstone General Contractors, LLC in Alaska is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead estimates from review to turnover and partner with the VP of Preconstruction and operations. You will help win work by reflecting Alaska realities in pricing and coverage plans.

You will own the estimate, drive subcontractor coverage, and guide pricing decisions with a focus on strong collaboration across teams to deliver quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial construction experience, including estimating vertical commercial projects.
• Lead-estimator responsibility on multiple vertical commercial estimates or bids.
• Experience pricing self-perform construction scopes and managing subcontractor proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimates from initial review through final pricing and turnover.
• Build quantity takeoffs, scope definitions, pricing, allowances, and contingencies.
• Develop conceptual estimates when documents are incomplete and document assumptions.
• Lead bid-review meetings and present the basis of estimate and risks clearly.
