Job summary

HB Construction is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead our preconstruction efforts with integrity, innovation, and excellence in Albuquerque, NM. You will shape project goals, budgets, schedules, and go/no-go decisions before ground breaks.

Responsibilities include budgeting, constructability reviews, value engineering, and collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, and subs to align expectations and drive successful bids and GMP delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction with 2+ years in preconstruction or estimating.
• Procore, P6, and MS Office proficiency.
• Knowledge of BIM/VDC and sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts from concept to GMP with budgeting and scheduling.
• Develop budgets, value engineering, and bid packaging.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Identify risks and provide proactive solutions.
• Support proposals and go/no-go decisions.
• Drive adoption of software and tech for Preconstruction.
• Support business development through client engagement.
• Present at pre-bid meetings and interviews.
