CAMP Facility Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager in Houston, TX. You will own project budgets from handoff, lead competitive buyout, and ensure cost-accurate buyout and commitments before subcontractors mobilize.

You will coach Project Managers, support Sales and Estimating, and drive standardization of preconstruction processes across the market to protect margins and optimize procurement. This role reports to the General Manager.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in construction or restoration preconstruction, estimating, competitive buyout, or project management.
• Demonstrated experience with competitive subcontractor buyout and subcontract negotiation.
• Ability to read, develop, and manage detailed project budgets and cost sheets.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and financial discipline.
• Working knowledge of subcontract terms, insurance requirements, purchase orders, and commitment systems.
• Ability to influence, coach, and hold Project Managers accountable without direct reporting authority.
• Strong communication, organization, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Own the project budget from Sales/Estimating handoff through preconstruction and reconcile estimates to execution requirements.
• Lead subcontractor and material buyout, negotiate bids, and track savings against budget.
• Issue accurate subcontracts and purchase orders before mobilization with clear scope, pricing, and terms.
• Maintain cost commitments and identify gaps that could create financial exposure.
• Partner with Subcontractor Management and Recruiting to maintain a competitive vendor base.
• Implement COE standards, cost sheets, scopes, and qualification requirements.
• Support Sales and Estimating with constructability, pricing, and risk assessments.
• Develop realistic project schedules aligned with field execution and AP/AR needs.
• Lead buyout review sessions to drive accountability and resolve issues before work begins.
