  • Drive procurement strategy and vendor selection, issue RFIs/RFPs, evaluate subcontractor bids, and manage subcontract scopes and commercial terms to optimize cost and constructability.
  • Collaborate with engineering, mechanical/MEP, and commissioning teams to integrate design-for-construction input, ensure system-level coordination, and address mission-critical reliability and resilience requirements.
  • Conduct project kickoff workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions; maintain clear communication with clients, design teams, operations, and senior leadership throughout preconstruction.
  • Administer project controls and documentation platforms (Procore, JDE, SharePoint); own estimate versioning, scope change tracking, PXP and project file management, and support monthly forecasting and reporting.
  • Lead risk management and joint readiness assessments for mission-critical projects; evaluate single-point-of-failure risks, redundancy strategies, and energy-as-a-service (EaaS) opportunities.
  • Mentor and lead preconstruction staff and estimating teams; foster best practices in estimating, constructability, budgeting, and schedule planning.
  • Support commercial negotiations and bid presentations; provide technical leadership during bid reviews and participate in final contract negotiations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture or related field; Masters or advanced technical degree preferred.
